Ross Karre

Ross Karre is a percussionist, filmmaker, and producer who devoted 11 years to the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE), initially as a performer and archive director and later in the roles of production director and artistic director in addition to performing. He has appeared in more than 500 concerts with the collective, including hundreds of world premieres

 

An avid chamber musician and interdisciplinary artist, he has performed regularly with red fish blue fish, Third Coast Percussion, and Yarn/Wire. His projection design work has been presented worldwide in prestigious venues such as the BBC Scotland, the Park Avenue Armory, the Kennedy Center, and the National Gallery of Art.
